Ephesians 2:8

For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are Gods workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

James 1:1-4 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations greetings;   Consider is pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trails of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.       I love this verse and have to remind myself reflect upon a lot!!!
